Like you, I’m intrigued by the claims made and I decided to snoop around to find out what the 12 Minute Affiliate system is all about.

I can say that it’s not a scam but you need to know your risks of buying into the program. Check out this full review to find out if you should sign up for 12 Minute Affiliate.

What Is 12 Minute Affiliate

  • Name:  12 Minute Affiliate
  • Founder: Devon Brown
  • Website: easy.12minuteaffiliate.com
  • Cost:  $47/month + multiple upsells
  • Price: Rating: 6.5/10

In its video, you’re pitched that you’re about to discover an obscure system that could make you hundreds of dollars a day in about 12 minutes.

It seems mysterious, tempting, and almost too good to be true.

Like any make money online programs, there are sweet carrots to lure users into the program. But what’s important is to learn the facts that are kept hidden until you’ve paid up to be a member.

So, what’s this ‘hidden system’ is all about.

12 Minute Affiliate is a system that allows its users to step into the affiliate marketing business by leveraging automation.

It works on the principle of

  1. Creating a landing page.
  2. Building an email list with an autoresponder.
  3. Driving traffic to the page.
  4. Automate promotion to the email list.
  5. Earn from affiliate commissions generated.

This isn’t any hidden system, but a funnel concept that is well known amongst experienced affiliate marketers.

It’s also worth mentioning that the 12 Minute System is a digital product marketed on ClickBank. ClickBank is popular with similar products, such as Perpetual Income 365.

Who’s the founder of 12 Minute Affiliate

Unlike many of the scams that are saturating the internet, 12 Minute Affiliate’s founder is a real person.

Meet Devon Brown.

According to Devon Brown’s bio, he’s an ‘author, speaker, emcee, entertainer, internet entrepreneur, former hip-hop dancer, and student of life’

And he hated cheese.

That aside, it’s assuring that 12 Minute Affiliate is not hiding behind some stock-photos of a suited model.

Devon Brown is as legit as he is. He has a huge number of followers on his social media and is seen to be giving talks frequently.

However, does that mean that 12 Minute Affiliate is a legit program?

Let’s dive deeper into it.

How Much Does 12 Minute Affiliate Cost?

Signing up for 12 Minute Affiliate costs $9.95… initially. For $9.95, you’ll get 14 days of trial. When the trial period ends, you’ll be charged $$47 per month for the basic membership. The $47 lets you promote to one of the 3 niches (home business, fitness, and personal development).

If you opt for the Gold membership, you’ll get to promote affiliate marketing offers in all of the 3 niches, but at the cost of $97 per month.

There are also other upsells, such as the $67 done-for-you setup or the $39 one time offer to ‘3x your results’.

While the upsells aren’t shown until you’ve subscribed to the program, the information is available on its affiliate page.

And if you’re tired of forking out of the monthly membership, you can opt for the lifetime pass, which costs $397 and $797 for 1 and 3 niche respectively.

What Do You Get From 12 Minute Affiliate?

Upon confirming your membership, you’ll have access to its member’s area. It has a dashboard that allows you to quickly set up an affiliate marketing funnel in about 12 minutes.

12 Minute Affiliate provides you prebuilt templates that can be loaded on your landing page. There are 12 ready-made templates. However, the templates are only limited to promoting a handful of ClickBank products.

And most of them are for promoting 12 Minute Affiliate itself.

You’ll also get to connect to an existing Aweber autoresponder or create a new one. Aweber is used to automate the mailing to your subscribers.

With 12 Minute Affiliate, you’ll get 80 email copies that are written by professionals and with high chances of converting. Again, these emails are built to promote 12 Minute Affiliate, at least in most of them.

If you paid for the done-for-you set up, it should take about 12 minutes to get the funnel up. However, that doesn’t mean that you’ll start making money yet.

In any form of affiliate marketing, the key to making money is traffic. If you can’t drive traffic to your landing page, you can’t make money. It’s fundamental.

You have two options with 12 Minute Affiliate. You can download its e-book of that shows you multiple ways of driving free traffic or pay for it.

If you want instant results, you have no choice to pay 12 Minute Affiliate for high-quality targetted traffic for your niche.

It costs about $1 per click and it’s stated clearly that clicks are not opt-ins or conversations. The traffic package comes at a minimum of $100 for an average of 100 clicks.

Can You Make Money With 12 Minute Affiliate?

Yes, you can.

Chances are, you’ve seen the testimonials by some of 12 Minute Affiliate members of how they’re making sales from the program.

I believe they are real members who have successes with the affiliate marketing system on 12 Minute Affiliate.

However, you ought to know that you’ll need to pump in hundreds of dollars before getting any results.

The logic is quite simple.

To get fast-tracked results with 12 Minute Affiliate, you’ll need to pay for ads. However, not everyone who is promoted with the landing page will opt-in into your email list.

Email opt-in is about 25% for a squeeze page.

It means if you’re getting 100 clicks, only 25 of the visitors will subscribe to your mailing. At this stage, you won’t be making any money yet.

The next metric that you’ll want to pay attention to is the ClickBank product’s conversion rate, which is about 1%.

So, to land a single sale, you’ll need to buy at least 400 clicks of paid traffic.

Common sense dictates that to be profitable, you’ll need to promote products of higher values. If one of your subscribers bought into any upsells of 12 Minute Affiliate, you’ll receive a 50% commission.

If a subscriber took up the first 3 upsells, you’ll make $57.98 in commission. For the priciest upsell, you’ll take home $398.50. That’s potentially $456.58 in the bag.

But, don’t forget your cost of $400 to drive the traffic and the fees that you’re paying as a member.

With luck, you could have a higher than average opt-in and conversion rate but the opposite could be true as well.

The program spells out clearly that it doesn’t guarantee that the clicks will convert or any financial results.

You could be profitable, but you’re looking at hundreds of dollars, if not more, of initial expenses.

What I Like About 12 Minute Affiliate

1. A functional affiliate marketing system

It lives up to its promise of a do-it-for-you affiliate marketing system. For beginners, 12 Minute Affiliate is a good platform to get quickly into action, albeit at a high cost.

2. Devon Brown is real

It’s worth highlighting because many internet marketing scams fake their founder profile. Devon Brown is respectable in the internet marketing community and that speaks volumes on what he brings to the table.

3. Prebuilt templates and email swipes

If you’re not a graphic design wizard or a copywriting expert, creating landing pages and email copies are a nightmare. You’ll either have to go through trial and errors, or hire an expert to get them done.

By providing these templates, you save possibly hundreds of dollars in preparations.

4. Private Facebook community

Having an exclusive community where you could connect with fellow members make a whole world of difference in affiliate marketing.

Things I Dislike

1. No serious training

With everything pretty much automated, you aren’t push through in-depth training that allows you to build an affiliate marketing business from scratch.

The entire automation is reliant on the existence of 12 Minute Affiliate. The make money online industry is a volatile one. If the platform shuts down, so does the traffic and the landing pages.

2. Expensive

For $47 a month, you are limited to promoting products in one niche. In order to unlock the limit, you’ll need to pay a monthly $97 fee. That’s considerably expensive for affiliate marketing programs.

3. Overly reliant on an unknown source of traffic

The success of making money with 12 Minute Affiliate lies in buying paid traffic. In fact, that’s the only way to be profitable within a short period. This puts the spotlight onto the source of the traffic.

12 Minute Affiliate uses solo ads, which means you’re promoting your landing page on other people’s mailing lists. You have no control over the quality of the traffic, which is important for a high opt-in rate.

4. You don’t own a real affiliate marketing business

While having your own mailing list is crucial, so does having a brandable website. As you’re using 12 Minute Affiliate’s platform to create your landing page, they are ultimately not yours. It also means you can’t build a website like this, that is entirely yours.

5. Too much focus on promoting Clickbank products

It’s fair to state that 12 Minute Affiliate is designed to promote digital products on ClickBank. It doesn’t prepare you to promote products or services that aren’t within the niches offered on the program.

In fact, what you’ll be doing from the start is to promote 12 Minute Affiliate to others. Personally, I’m not too fond of such tactics.

Verdict

The 12 Minute Affiliate isn’t a scam. It’s legit when it comes to done-for-you affiliate marketing system.

For newbies who wanted a quick shot at affiliate marketing and with a considerable marketing budget, the 12 Minute Affiliate is a good place to start.

If you’re thinking of signing up, keep in mind that spending $47 per month isn’t going to bring you anywhere. Without investing hundreds of dollars on traffic, there will be no leads and thus, no commissions.

Bottom line is, 12 Minute Affiliate is legit, but I won’t be strongly recommending it for a few reasons.

First, it doesn’t train you to be a real affiliate marketer. By ‘real’, I’m talking about one who knows how to build affiliate marketing businesses from scratch. In such a dynamic industry, I believe it’s crucial for an affiliate marketer to adapt and prosper in various niches.

Secondly, 12 Minute Affiliate heavily relies on solo ads. While ads can be an effective driver, you ought to know how to master free traffic sources. Some free traffic sources can be very targetted and this means you got high conversions without paying for ads.

Finally, I find that making money by promoting the same program that teaches how to make money, is pretty shallow. It doesn’t offer any real retail value in the long run.

You’ll eventually still need to learn about copywriting, building landing pages, and other areas of affiliate marketing.

Here’s a different (and possibly better) option

If you think that 12 Minute Affiliate fits your taste of affiliate marketing, go for it.

Else, consider this affiliate marketing program that teaches

  • How to build profitable marketing from scratch.
  • How to tap on highly targeted free traffic
  • How to compete and earn in any niche (Not only the make money online niche)
  • Copywriting that converts.

Besides, this program

  • Has no upsells.
  • Is cheaper and has comprehensive affiliate marketing training.
  • Allows you to host your own websites with your domain.
  • Has an active community with hundreds of thousands of affiliate marketers.
  • Costs $0 to get started.

That’s Wealthy Affiliate for you. It’s where I learned to build affiliate marketing sites that work with or without ads.

It offers extensive step-by-step courses that not only teach you how to build affiliate sites but actually put you into doing so.

Besides, it’s absolutely FREE to get started.
